SUNDAY,
AUGUST 10:
Slept in
late; took it pretty easy most of the day.
Bill drove back to Port Angeles to get a few groceries and a tool to
finish getting the RV steps back in shape (the guy at Pedder Bay never did return). Mission accomplished!
Another
mission accomplished: Bill bought the 2 heavy duty jacks from our
neighbors. Since they have a Class A
motor home now, they won’t be using the jacks that he’d used with his 5th
wheel; he said that if he needed to change a tire on his motor home, he’d call
AAA! So he was selling the jacks. Since we’ve needed them 2 times on this trip,
Bill decided it was a good idea to have his own. Good price.
Very warm
during the day; so warm that we turned the A/C on in the RV.
Only time
we got out today was to walk a little around the RV park. Very nice.
Rows are terraced, and there are rows of trees between the terraced
levels, making it appear that everything is more spacious and natural. Views of the Olympic Mountains. Very quiet
here. I haven’t seen any kids at all.
